Half Way on Vacation Trip to Utah

Half Way on Vacation Trip to Utah

We are at the end of our second day of a four day 'vacation trip' to Utah to spend a couple of weeks or so with Annette and Larry. We stayed in Amarillo, TX, last night, and are in Cortez, CO, tonight. We will be doing some sight-seeing and museum visits before we arrive at their house on Boulder Mountain on Sunday afternoon.

As we came back from supper tonight, to our Holiday Inn Express motel, here was the sight we saw!
Were no cars coming, I had to stand in the street, use my telephoto a little, but it came out pretty neat!

Snow-capped Rocky Mountains are still hard to beat for visual stimulation!  ;-)

It was a very good day!  ;-)

That's the fun thing about road trips, I reckon. Before you reach one point, you get to experience a few new things on the road. The photo looks neat, indeed.
