It's amazing that you can remember that names of all these teachers. I can name a few of my teachers, but not very many.

I remember Pat Kennedy, as my 8th grade teacher, for many reasons. The other that helps, is that their names are written on the back of the photos... we used to be able to do that with a pencil!! I remember very few of my teachers by name, without some strong, specific reminders, as you say!! ;-)
P.S. That opening image of Mom standing in that particular doorway, that way, still makes my heart go piter-pat!!! ;-)
