4th of July Parade in Torrey on July 3

Today we participated in the Torrey, Utah, Apple Days Parade which is the 4th of July Parade in this small town in Wayne County. Annette and Larry work with a number of local organizations including the 4-H and are promoting a new Dark Skies event in October with a float in the parade this year. Here is our first look at the float, with the whole family plus a couple of teenagers from 4-H helping out.

Larry drove the Jeep to pull the wagon. Arrion and Alex have on the Star costumes. Megan, a 4-H girl is in front. Nancy and I are sitting the back, with Ben holding Kaylee in front of us. We had candy wrapped in star foil to throw along the parade route. More photos of the parade to follow.

By the way, the temperatures were in the mid-70s, with just a gentle breeze. Fantastic, for the date!  ;-)

Have a great 4th of July Weekend, where ever you may be!  ;-)

It was a very good day!  ;-)
